Well, NaNoWriMo is the gift that keeps on giving. Now that I have done my first NaNoWriMo in 2013 (and won, thanks for asking) than I get invited to something called Camp NaNoWriMo 2014. Obviously the shop / servers and organisers need something to do apart from supporting the massive burst of activity in November and this is it.
To make it different from November people are grouped (if they want to be) into virtual cabins which seem to me like support groups. This year it runs in April and July and the concept can be anything: instead of a 50,000+ word novel it can be anything from (AFAIK) a 10,000 word piece. I’m just in the middle of something could fit the bill (more news later) so I will be skipping Camp this time round.
What about you – who’s up for it? What have your experiences been? Let me know!
