The Irish Times are running a series of articles on learning to write. These are available on-line and every Monday a new part is presented. The overview article was posted on Saturday May 17 – Would you like to write a book? Our how-to series starts today. The title is a bit disingenuous given the actual start was today (Monday 19 2014) in a post entitled A good place to start: how to find the idea that can drive a novel. This has quotes from writers Emma Donoghue, Dermot Bolger, Liz Nugent and Karen Joy Fowler.
At first glance it lacks some depth but for what it is – free and well intended I am not complaining and will aim to check out future pieces. Thoughts?
