With September 2014 well under way, and NaNoWriMo 2014 waiting a few more weeks for November to arrive, I’ve collected together my best articles on NaNoWriMo. I’ve written more about my personal experience and if you want to look at the whole set use the menu On Writing > NaNoWriMo or just click on the link!
If you’re still debating taking part this year, why not take a look? If you know of any aspects I’ve missed please, do, let me know. I look forward to hearing.
- First up, Is NaNoWriMo a good idea? I argue that there are pros and cons, but depending on where you are in your career is certainly worth considering
- Next, on the assumption that you are going to do NaNoWriMo I give my Project manager’s approach to NaNoWriMo. In this article I discuss how you should approach the task of writing 50,000 words or even more
- At this point you’re committed and there’s only one month to go. You need to check NaNoWriMo one month to go which has my easy to use check-list. This will tell you if you are ready for November, or not
- The final piece of the puzzle is some advice on finding a way to squeeze a few hundred or more words into a busy day. For this you need Finding the time to write – dancing around the day job.
Please do let me know if you found these useful and good luck with NaNoWriMo 2014!
